mpreg!Buck 5b au wip . It`s 1st draft cause I only started it

“Hello again, Mr. Buckley. Your results are back and I can confirm that you are pregnant,” doctor who's name Buck doesn't really remember smiling a little at him, but Buck can't smile back. Too many emotions and feelings attack him right now. “Everything looks good, but you need to make an appointment with an obstetrician now. Do you have questions?”

How am I going to tell Eddie? How will Eddie react? Does Eddie want more kids? Will Eddie stay in the baby's life? Will Eddie be angry about Buck because he forgot that he is not on birth control for the last six months?

Too many questions, but no one knows answers.

“I'm a firefighter. Can you please tell me how bad it is for me to continue working at least till twelve weeks? It's only four more. And why am I not showing?”

Buck doesn't know what to do. He knows he needs to talk to Eddie. But he is so scared. Eddie only started getting better after his breakdown. And they only stopped acting too strange and awkward after that night which Buck would always cherish. But Eddie regrets it. 

And Buck doesn't know how to talk about it. He can't just say, “hey, Eddie. The weather is cool today. Also remember how you fucked me two months ago? Guess what? You knocked me up.”

He would be cute and protective. But imagine Yak being pregnant? Dee would know every single obstetrician in the hospital and have all the ultrasounds saved and he'd be so into all the aspects of taking care of Yak through the pregnancy.

Plus, Imagine Yei and Cher with pregnant Yak and the arguments about how long he could keep boxing and practicing and training and Dee bringing in medical books? It'd be great.

i think i spiralled down the avenmo rabbit hole, but i need to yap about mpreg with them.

-the pregnancy was unexpected and definitely not planned. at first they're both aprehensive about it, due to their backgrounds. moze doesn't have much hope for it either, cuz of all the experimentation done to him at the hands of sanctus medicus

-it's a high risk pregnancy and the two are often over for check ups and have their obstetrician on speed dial

-moze's bump is relatively small and aventurine is all over it, talking to their baby and waiting for it to move. he's relieved when he feels it kick

-they don't build the nursery until the last moment possible, to prevent any heartbreak from possibly losing it. it's painted with a nice pale green and it has an abundance of light.

-moze took up knitting as both a way to pass time and as a coping strategy for his ocd. it soothes him greatly with how meticulous and intensive it is. he knits hats for his baby, socks for it, sweaters for himself and aventurine. he even has a rocking chair set up in the nursery.

-the cat cakes are all over moze, meowing to the bump. it's endearing and aventurine has many videos of them doing that

-the due date comes by and the two of them find themselves rushing to the hospital, the second moze goes into labour. he's hooked up to a bunch of sensors that monitor his and the baby's condition. it's nerve wracking for the both of them since at the end of the day this is still a high risk baby

-they end up choosing to go for a c-section, since it's much safer for the both of them

-when aventurine first gets to hold their baby he's ecstatic and cries so much. his cute and tiny daughter who has his eyes. he's attached to her in a heartbeat

-the cat cakes keep the baby company and usually at least one of them keeps guard of her. she doesn't fuss around much and is generally quiet. all are enamoured

So this is based on some old notes I remember (and am yet to find) from years ago.

 Pairing: Sephiroth/Cloud

  Winnie Neuman considered herself one of Shinra’s best obstetricians.

Not that there was that many of them really.

For the most of Shinra’s employees the company just let them go find their own. But SOLDIER’s were different. The combination of Mako and different cells within them meant that their children were of as much interest to Shinra as they themselves were. Meant that their children were a possible way for enemies to get a hold of information about Shinra’s project. There was also the different risk factors of the birth itself as well.

So Winnie, and the handful of others, who managed to get what is really the job of a lifetime are predominantly responsible for the births of an heirs to the SOLDIER program, with a couple of Big Named Shinra members thrown in there as well to keep things interesting.

Most of the time though their job was pretty similar to the average obstetrician. Especially now that Hojo has mysteriously gone missing.

And Winnie was one of the best. Possibly the best.

Considering she was chosen to deliver the Silver General’s child herself she feels like it’s an assumption backed up with a level of evidence.

Sephiroth’s mate is, in some ways exactly what Winnie would expect and some ways completely not.

Cloud Strife is an attractive omega male, which Winnie expected. But he’s neither high ranking nor some besotted Sephiroth fan like Winnie thought when she had been told Sephiroth had sired a child.

He’s also self-reliant and stubborn – Winnie has never seen Sephiroth at a single one of her appointments with his omega. And she doesn’t know whether that was his decision or Cloud’s but Cloud certainly doesn’t seem that bothered by it.

Honestly she’s a bit surprised when Sephiroth is there for the birth. And realises almost just as quickly that she’s never actually spent that much time around the alpha.

Sure, she’s dealt with him in passing. She’s high enough in Shinra and tied to the SOLDIER program enough to.

But this is not dealing with passing.

No, this is being responsible for his mate and child’s health during a very dangerous, and exposing, time.

And she realises just why so many people find him so intimidating.

At least he doesn’t seem that interested in Winnie. Just intently focused on his mate in a way that is kind of creepy more than endearing if Winnie is being honest.

Not that Cloud seems to be handling it that negatively at all. A strong one, Winnie supposes.

But there is always a point for everyone where the pain gets too much. And Cloud hits it much the same.

Winnie tries not to think about how much Sephiroth’s eyes seem to light up at it.

It’s really hard to ignore it though, with the words that quickly join.

“That’s it Cloud, bare the pain,” Sephiroth says, his voice deep and possessive, and Winnie really resists the urge to stare at him bug-eyed because does he seriously think that’s comforting? In the slightest?

“Seph-” Cloud says, before getting cut off by a groan with the next contraction. And he’s doing well, really – Winnie has yet to see anyone be able to form words that aren’t curses during contractions by this point.

“Shhh,” Sephiroth says, and it does seem soothing in a way, “you’re doing well, baring my children into the world.”

The grown that escapes Cloud seems more of aggravation than pain.

Winnie isn’t surprised when Cloud takes a swing at Sephiroth. There are many who hit their mates during birth, a way of making them feel the pain as well she supposes.

It’s not that abnormal for their mates, normally more enhanced than them, to catch the hands before they can land the blow. Nor to pepper kisses along the knuckles.

It is abnormal though for such fond glee to be evident in their mate’s eyes.

“Fucking bastard-” Cloud says. Possibly aware of Sephiroth’s expression. Or possibly he’s just taken to swearing at the person somewhat responsible for him pain – that's common enough.

“Tell me,” Sephiroth says, “tell me how much it hurts – how much it hurts as your body is permanently changed from bringing my child into the world?”

“No,” Cloud says from clenched teeth.

“Why not?”

“Because you’re supposed to be comforting me!”

“I am,” Sephiroth says and Winnie has to hold back a snort. Because she’s seen a lot of piss-poor attempts at comfort in her time but Sephiroth really takes the prize for turning it into something inherently creepy.

“Sephiroth,” Cloud says and Winnie is pretty sure she knows what he’s going to say next but Sephiroth just gives a mildly questioning hum. “Get. Out.”

“What?”

“I said – Get Out,” Cloud says, although it’s more a snarl, that ends with panted breath with his next contractions. He’s really close now – probably not the best time to decide to change the residents of the room but Winnie would agree that this would probably go easier of Sephiroth wasn’t there.

“If that is what you want,” Sephiroth says coolly.

“Yes,” Cloud says, “and get me Zack.”

That earns a chuckle from Sephiroth. Probably the fondest sound Winnie has ever heard come from him.

“Alright, I will get you Zackary,” Sephiroth says, leaning in to press a kiss to Cloud’s forehead that’s swatted away, before taking his leave.  

It takes maybe 10 minutes before Zack Fair shows up. But it is long enough for Cloud to go from really close to actively crowning.

“Hey Spike, what happened?” Zack says, a hand by the side of his face to block Cloud’s lower half from his vision – endearing in a silly way, Winnie supposes.

It’s her first time properly seeing him as well. A bit surprising if she’s being honest since she’s been hearing about the fact he has a girl somewhere in the slums before she heard about the General having picked up a mate. Had been waiting for him to show up at her office any day for over a year.

“Seph was...” Cloud starts before groaning with his next contraction. And Zack, immediately, grabs his hand to let him squeeze it. Something Cloud takes advantage of.

“Intense,” Cloud finishes once the contraction is finished.

“Right,” Zack says and he doesn’t sound surprised. “So what am I here for – please don’t tell me it’s to help, because I love you Cloud, I really do, but I don’t want to see any of... that.”

“Just comfort me,” Cloud says, “tell me I’m doing a good job.”

“Hurts that bad?” Zack asks, his head tilted in an overexpression of confusion that’s probably just to lighten the mood.

“It hurts so much,” Cloud says with a weak laugh, but it gets quickly cut off with the next contraction. “Fuck it fucking hurts-”

“You can do it though Spike,” Zack says, his free hand coming to brush Cloud’s hair up from his eyes. “You’re tough like that.”

Cloud rolls his eyes at it and gives Zack an unimpressed look. Which is probably exactly what Zack had wanted to happen Winnie has a feeling.

“You are doing good though Cloud,” Zack says. “And you know Seph’s proud of you he’s-”

“Just really bad at showing it,” Cloud says, but it doesn’t sound like an argument to the point.

“Yeah, that,” Zack says, “still, bet you he’ll cry when he sees her.”

“What?” Cloud asks before it apparently clicks for him. “No way, he doesn’t cry about anything – you're on.”

 Both Cloud and the baby make it though the birth healthy and whole because Winnie is good at her job and overall it was a pretty standard birth, mako-side-effects aside.

Zack all-but immediately goes to get Sepiroth from the waiting room and the General’s eyes hone onto this mate and child as soon as he enters the room. He’s by their side nearly an instant later, an easy speed and grace that even other SOLDIERs envy.

“She’s perfect,” Sephiroth says, his voice low. “Thank you for her.”

“She’s mine too,” Cloud says, but there doesn’t seem to be heat in his words – just teasing.

Sephiroth hums in agreement.

“And that’s what makes her perfect – a combination of our genetics germinated in your womb. A perfectly that cannot be replicated.”

“Unless we have another one.”

“No. They will be perfect in a different way.”

The frown on the doctors face when he looked at the screen of the ultrasound machine was one of the scariest things Brian had witnessed in a while. One glance at his husband told him that Roger felt the same, the blonde was gripping at the edges of the examination bed with white knuckles.  When the doctor kept moving the wand on Roger's swollen belly, the frown only deepening, Brian couldn't keep quiet anymore.

"Is everything alright?" The guitarist asked, rubbing at Roger's arm comfortingly when he heard the blonde's breath hitch slightly.

"Yes, yes…" The doctor seemed to be more focused on the screen than answering Brian's inquiry.

"The baby is alright?" Roger sounded so tensed up that Brian was sure he was about ready to snap.

"The baby is fine, yes. The heartbeat is strong, and the development seems to be going fine. Just…"

"Just what?"

"There seems to be more than one heartbeat"

"What?" Roger and Brian exchanged confused glances, before looking at the screen again, now even more intensely than earlier. The frown finally melted from the doctor's face, and he smiled at the couple.

"As far as I can tell, there are three heartbeats" Brian felt his stomach drop. Three? How can one baby have three heartbeats? Didn't the doctor just say that the baby seems to be growing normally? Three hearts in one baby doesn't sound normal?

Thankfully, Brian's husband seemed to have a bit of a faster thought process.

"We're… Are you saying that we are having three babies?"

'Right. Not one baby with three hearts. Just three babies. No biggie.' … 'No wait -'

"Three babies?!" Now Brian was gripping Roger's shoulder more for support than anything else.

"Yes, it seems so. All with steady, healthy heartbeats. Congratulations"

"Three babies?!"

"You're not a parrot, Brian! Stop repeating it, I'm already freaking out!" Roger's voice was about an octave higher than usually, his eyes stuck on the ultrasound screen.

"But we're having three babies?!"

"Yes I heard!"

"I think we should all calm down now. This does change the progress of the pregnancy a little bit, but I assure you -"

"Three babies!"

"If you say that one more time, Brian, I swear I will feed that ultrasound gel to you!" Brian tried taking a few deep breaths, his eyes flicking quickly from the screen to the doctor, and then to Roger. The blonde looked terrified, but there was also a bright smile on his face.

"Love… We're having -"

"Three babies! Oh my god!" Roger slapped a hand on his mouth as a hysterical laughter escaped his lips. Brian felt tears pricking in his eyes, and bent down to envelope his husband in a bone crushing hug. Maybe he got some of the ultrasound gel on his clothes, but he didn't care. He was having three babies.

"I'll leave you two for a bit" The doctor smiled, but Brian could hardly hear him over his sobs. "I'll come back with some leaflets and phone numbers so we can set you up with a birthing class and obstetrician who's specialised to multiples"

After the door had closed after the doctor, Roger let out a happy shriek, and  Brian pulled back from the hug.

"Oh my god, Brian! Three babies! How… What are we going to do?" The smile was slowly fading off from the blonde's face. "How will we manage?"

"We'll figure it out, I promise you. I promise, alright? We're going to be okay"

"That would be more believable if you weren't bawling your eyes out"

"I'm just really happy" Brian lowered his hands gently on the side of Roger's belly, imagining the small humans growing in there. His children. All warm and cozy and safe. New tears welled in his eyes and he wasn't sure he could ever stop crying.

"I love you so much. All of you" He leaned to kiss Roger, getting a happy sound from the blonde.

"I love you too. And you think we'll be alright?"

"I know we will"

This single father is very lucky to have such a kind, supportive and understanding obstetrician. There will be many hours of struggling. But in the end everything is going well. He's is going to give birth to a big, beautiful baby boy ♡

Yuuri's been through five pregnancies. Each pregnancy must have different, specially as he grew older. How does this affect Yuuri emotionally and physically through each pregnancy?

Oooh pregnancy questions~ Hope y’all don’t mind me bunching these together ^ ^;

Obvious but MPREG warnings.

Yuuri and the entire family definitely changed and learned a lot after each pregnancy, yet nothing was ever 100% predictable even after they were more experienced because they were all different. That being said, Yuuri’s always had a TON of support from his growing family, so he’s never felt like he’s had to deal with any of it alone.

Minami being there for him was a MAJOR help during all of Yuuri’s pregnancies, including before Minami officially became a husband. Minami comes from a family of big name doctors, including a mother and older omega brother who are obstetricians. After watching Yuuri struggle through several omega-related issues while he was still an active skater, Minami studied omegan health care pretty intensively with the help of his family, wanting to be able to help his idol in any way possible. When Yuuri becomes pregnant, Minami pretty much becomes a live-in nurse, and it’s largely thanks to him that Yuuri’s been able to avoid any home births and has been able to deliver in safe hospital environments.

The first pregnancy was obviously super rough, because one, TWINS, but two, they just didn’t know what to expect. Yuuri was excited and happy, but also increasingly nervous, paranoid, and just all over feeling crap about himself. He tried not to show it to his newly wed husbands Victor and Yurio, but going straight from the top of the skating world to suddenly having to stay at home as Yurio continues to thrive with his coach Victor at his side was…rough.

Yuuri tells himself that he’s retired now, it’s okay to take it easy and he should be happy being a stay at home mom married to two extremely successful and attractive alphas; it’s the omega dream. But he also can’t help but think that up until the previous season, he was there standing on the rink next to them too, and part of him feels left behind or removed from that sphere. It also doesn’t help that he’s gone from peak athlete physical condition to a body that’s changing in ways that he’s never experienced before.

Yurio and Victor are always super conscious of Yuuri’s feelings, and Yurio especially is adamant that Yuuri should returning to coaching/choreographing for him and their whole family should travel together to all of his competitions as soon as Yuuri and the kids are physically able. But both alphas are also in hyper protective overdrive, and are constantly torn between wanting Yuuri to be in their immediate vicinity at all times, and also not wanting to move him from the safety of familiar environments or stress him out at all. Pregnancy is new to them too, and they don’t know moderation, and often unintentionally stifle Yuuri more than he can handle combined with his own stress. They figure it out, sometimes with outside intervention usually from Minami or Phichit or even Chris and Otabek, but there’s a decent number of breakdowns.

But other than that, the twins came super smoothly, 12 minutes apart, and Yuuri can take a breather LOL

Perhaps because the twins came so easily, they all sorta had their guard down for Arisa. And also, Yuuri mistakenly assumed that since she’s Phichit’s, she would be smaller.

Arisa was a FAT baby.

And she was stubborn, typical, and didn’t really want to come out either. And well, it hurt. A LOT. And took a long time. And Phichit, who usually acts the most collected, was pretty hysterical and had to be removed from the room a few times, and Yuuri was never so grateful for his stamina as he was then…

After that they were like ALRIGHT babies come in lotsa different sizes, be prepared!

But then Yuuji, Yuuji was IMPATIENT, also typical, and wanted to come out early. He moved around a ton in Yuuri’s tummy too, but still everyone freaked out when Yuuri’s water broke several weeks before was considered safe. Yuuji came out FAST and was tiny, and had to stay in the hospital for a few weeks but luckily didn’t have any major complications.

After that, another big breather for Yuuri, and everyone thought Yuuji would be the last ^ ^;

Fast forward a few years, and then we have Noé. Noé, especially in contrast to Yuuji, was a very, VERY calm baby who didn’t really move much. Which wouldn’t have alarmed Yuuri too much, except now that he has a baseline to compare to and his most recent memory is of Yuuji, it sorta freaks him out. That combined with the fact that he’s older and his mates whispering amongst themselves whether this is actually safe, is it gonna be okay–leads to a LOT of anxiety and demanding frequent checkups with his obstetrician to ease his peace of mind.

But other than external paranoia, Noé was surprisingly smooth, not particularly big or small, just quiet LOL

I haven’t quite decided on Saya yet, but I think she might come at a really not ideal location, possibly while traveling or while Yuuri’s in the middle of something. She’s not very big and I don’t think there were any health complications (I just don’t want to do baby health complications in this AU, too sad and scary, but scares are possible ^ ^;) buuuuut we’ll see~ ^ ^; Beka definitely freaks the fuck out tho ahahahahha

Are what I have for now! All subject to change, but the first four especially are pretty decided in my mind ^ ^

Everyone extend the sincerest warm welcome to my BaIImastrz fan character, Birth Ball. Birth Ball is an obstetrician who also happens to be (you guessed it) a ball. Sure, while balls are most often seen directly participating in athletics, the show has also featured them as announcers, photographers/videographers, in security roles, etc….so when it comes to the question of whether your next lawyer, hair stylist, or—yes—doctor could indeed be one of these orbs, I like to say…why not? Appropriately enough, Birth Ball appears in the Mpreg Escapade each time Leto receives medical attention. She provides thorough prenatal/labor & delivery care to UIsa Guerinites of all ages, genders, and species who are in the family way, and is compassionate and down-to-earth (although she spends most of her time hovering) with an excellent bedside manner, as a good health care professional should be. On the other hand, she’s not so reserved that she doesn’t keep a lineup of sarcastic responses locked and loaded for when the Leptons display some of their antics in her office. Birth Ball enjoys a busy schedule, and has been known to attend a game or two in her rare leisure time. I want to shadow her for a day 😤

Thanks for the prompt, friend! Continuing this from my last story; 1k (nothing graphic, though!)

After Killian handily beat David in their pizza eating contest (by two slices—but David still managed to polish off all of his), they were both leaning back against the sofa cushions, cradling their guts.

Killian was fairly sure his had grown in the last hour, his already oversized tshirt feeling a bit snugger, though whether it was the meal or his ever-growing babe was up for debate (honestly, he wasn’t sure how she could get any bigger, even though she probably would).

David, however, was merely overstuffed, but still seemed a bit entranced by the slight curve of his stomach. “This’ll be real soon,” he said, in awe, but then looked over at Killian. “But I doubt I’ll end up as big as you.”

“Oy! Bad form, mate,” he protested, rubbing the curve of his belly. “But I’ll have you know that the doctor said it’s all baby, and even your lovely wife said I carry it all out in front of me. So.” He didn’t know how to finish, so immaturely stuck out his tongue.

“You keep telling yourself that.” A throw pillow hit David’s head a moment later.

He just shook his head and laughed, and proceeded to pick up the empty boxes and take them to the trash out back. When he got back inside, Killian was sitting with his feet propped on the coffee table, idly tracing his fingers across his generous baby bump. David might tease, but he truly was a bit jealous of it—that Killian got to feel his child so close—but now that he knew he’d get to experience the same, it was lessened.

“David, can I ask you something?” Killian said, much more seriously than their previous conversation, when David sat down.

“Of course, Killian—anything.”

“Allow me to preface this by saying that we’d intended to ask you this before today’s revelations, but I feel it’s even more pertinent now: will you be in the delivery room with me and Emma?”

David was floored. They actually wanted him there? “I…I’d be honored. Of course I’ll be there with you.”

Killian beamed back at him. “Thank you, mate; it means a lot to both of us. Well, all three of us,” he corrected, looking down at his belly.

“You’re not gonna try to scare me or anything, are you?”

Killian just chuckled. “Not intentionally. But if it makes you feel any better, I’ll be there for yours, if you want.”

“I…yeah, I think I’d like that.”

“Excellent. It’s a deal.”

One week later, they were at Granny’s, enjoying a celebratory breakfast—David and Snow confirmed to Emma that they were expecting (AND she was only mildly upset that Killian had found out first). Killian kept shifting in his seat, complaining of back pain, which led Emma and Snow to exchange a knowing look. And not 5 minutes later, his water broke.

David drove them all to the hospital in his truck, and stayed for hours, even after Snow had gone home to tend to Neal. He and Emma helped Killian through all the contractions, even though he did have to excuse himself a few times to deal with the nausea that was beginning to make his life difficult.

Not only that, though, but it was hard seeing someone he loved, and one of the strongest people he knew on top of that, go through such pain. Yeah, he’d been through it twice with Snow, but it never got easier.

Finally, late in the evening, the doctor told them it was time to start pushing. “You’ve got this, Killian,” David assured him as he held Killian’s left forearm, allowing him to press against him as much as he needed.

On the other side, Emma was also reassuring him and squeezing his hand. “You can do this, babe; I love you so much.”

Hearing the constant stream of updates and instructions from the doctors was almost overwhelming, knowing that lie ahead for David. But he couldn’t let that show, not if he was going to keep his promise to Killian. “Keep going, man; you’re doing great.”

Killian was screaming at the final push; David winced at how hard he was bracing himself against him, but kept up the support—no way could he flag.

But then Killian fell back, spent, and a tiny infant cry filled the air. “Is that…” Killian started, but was too tired to finish.

David had to hop out of the way as Dr. Whale brought the wriggling babe up to Killian’s chest. “Here she is, Dad. Great job.”

David hung back as Emma and Killian fawned and cooed over their new addition, not wanting to interfere with a special moment for the three of them. But his heart definitely skipped a few beats at seeing the new family, and at how quickly Killian’s countenance switched from drained to elated. After the ordeal he’d just gone through, to be so quickly happy again was impossible to David—but, he supposed, he’d understand better himself soon.

Suddenly, Killian was staring at him, smiling, and Emma was, too. “Come over here, Grandpa, and meet your new granddaughter,” Killian commanded.

“You sure?”

“Get over here, Dad,” Emma insisted.

Tentatively, he took those few steps forward and hovered over them. The little girl was still covered in gunk and seemed not too happy about being out of the womb, but she was still absolutely gorgeous. “She’s perfect,” David concluded, his emotions getting the best of him (and he wasn’t entirely sure he could blame it on the pregnancy). “I’ll go call Snow,” he said, excusing himself before he completely broke down.

Hours later, after everyone had been cleaned up and gotten some rest, David was holding the newest member of the family—the first person to do so outside of her parents and doctors. Emma had gone to get Henry, so it was just Killian and David.

“Thank you again, mate, for being there,” Killian said. “I don’t think I could have done it without you.”

“Oh, I’m sure you could have,” David brushed off, staring down at the sweet sleeping face in his arms. “But thank you for allowing me to be there.”

“I hope I didn’t scare you too much,” Killian added, chuckling lightly, but then wincing and holding his still-sore stomach.

“No, not at all,” David concluded. It had been overwhelming at times, but he was glad to see how it had gone, and realized he was less nervous about doing it himself. “There’s really only one thing that has me concerned.”

“What’s that?”

“That I’ve punched the only obstetrician in town.”
